Beatrix Potter is back in the news following Renee Zellweger's charming performance as Miss Potter. In this light-hearted fantasy tale with superb animation, we see Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck and Beatrix Potter's many other characters come to life as she writes. The resulting publicity has focused collectors' attention on the Beatrix Potter figures by John Beswick and Royal Albert. Dating back to 1948, these were the first ceramic models of her famous characters, and they were made until 2002.
