Ceramic figurines
Clay has been used to fashion ceramic since the earliest civilizations and collectors seek out the finest examples from all eras and countries. We specialize in British ceramic figurines and toby jugs from the 19th and 20th centuries, particularly the work of the Royal Doulton factories. At their Lambeth studio in London, Doulton produced works made of high fired salt glazed stoneware and white hard paste porcelain. At their Burslem studio in Stoke-on-Trent, they specialized in earthenware and fine bone china figurines.
We stock a huge variety of Royal Doulton's ceramic figurines - pretty ladies, character models, historical personalities and child studies. They range in size from spectacular prestige models, around 20 inches tall, to miniatures less than 4 inches. Many of the retired and limited edition designs are now hard to find and our company can help you locate the rarest figurines from the early 20th century. We also carry an extensive range of current Royal Doulton figurines and commission exclusive designs from the factory.
Bunnykins
These figurines were inspired by Royal Doulton's famous nursery ware and these cute rabbit characters are now amongst the company's most popular collectibles. Since the early 1970s, more than 300 figurines have been issued in the Bunnykins DB series and we stock a large percentage of them, including some of the first models which are now hard to find and some elusive limited editions.
For many years, we have commissioned these exclusive figurines for collectors, notably the American series and balloon sellers, inspired by traditional Royal Doulton characters.
Bunnykins has come a long way since 1934 when the children's nursery ware was first designed by Barbara Vernon a young nun in an English convent.
