Alphabet Figures - Peggy Davies Studio

Peggy did not complete the alphabet and each figure is very rare. A different British Butterfly is included with each letter.

Peggy set up her own studio in 1947 when her first son was born and some of her early independent figurines were sold at Harrods. Although she soon signed a modeling contract with Royal Doulton, she accepted private commissions throughout her career and re-established the Peggy Davies Studio with her son Rhodri when she retired from Doulton in 1984. She continued to take on new challenges in the collection of American Patriots character jugs commissioned by Pascoe and Company in 1987. In January 1988, she made her only visit to the United States to meet collectors at the Florida Doulton show. Sadly, she died the following year.
