Biddy Penny Farthing is a classic, colourful portrayal of a cheerful lady plying her trade in the marketplace, offering beautiful balloons and bouquets of blooms. This figure is based on the original designed by Leslie Harradine and launched in 1938 - after which it enjoyed eight decades of production in full size. Biddy Penny Farthing is a hand made and hand decorated collectable figurine that comes complete with a Royal Doulton Certificate of Authenticity. Street Vendors have long been a celebrated subject within Royal Doulton's range of Character Figures. This new collection of miniatures figures represents scaled-down versions of some of the most popular figures created for Royal Doulton in the first half of the 20th Century.
